Behavior is a product of the environment. If you don't change your environment, you don't change YOU. Few are qualified to help. We are the few.
There is so much information freely available on how to be healthy. There are thousands of resources to tell you what to eat and how to work out. Even though most people know what they need to do, they are still not successful. Why? Because until now the most pivotal aspect of being healthy has been neglected: behavior.
We believe people need to make changes to their environment and routine in order to live a healthy life. We don't promote one specific diet or exercise plan for everyone. At Habit Crafters, we recognize that you are an individual with a unique body, health history, and life circumstances.
At Habit Crafters, we use the principles of the science of behavior to set you up for success. "You've got to want it," simply isn't enough. We help you alter the stimuli in your environment in order to occasion the behaviors you want and discourage the behaviors you don't. Behavior is a complex phenomenon, but we have the expertise to guide you through understanding, analyzing, and changing it.
Movement is incredibly important, but figuring out which gym to go to, trainer to pay, or class to attend can be overwhelming. Our fitness coaching is designed to help you understand the fundamentals of exercise and how various movements impact your body. We will also teach you a new way to track your productivity in the gym. Our goal is to teach you to make decisions about your exercise confidently.
At Habit Crafters, we know that food is extremely personal and one diet does not work universally. We believe in being aware of what you are eating, but not being fearful of foods. We also believe in eating a variety of foods with everything in moderation. Our nutrition coaching is intended to provide unbiased information about the physiological processes that occur when we eat certain foods. In addition, we can help you understand effective ways to grocery shop, meal plan, and prepare foods that align with your health goals.
Are you curious about behavior analysis? Do you want to learn more about this science, our program, and how we can help you change your behavior? Do you have some questions in mind and want to speak with an expert? During this one-hour virtual meeting you will get the opportunity to talk to a professional behavior analyst about these things.
In this six week asynchronous course you will be walked through the steps of implementing health and wellness behavior changes in your life. Each week you will engage in videos and reflective activities that will teach you how to set and achieve health goals from a behavioral standpoint.
In this three month program you will get access to our course, Behavior Change for a Healthier Life, PLUS two one-on-one virtual meetings each week with your health coaches to help guide you through implementing these strategies in your life. In this program you will have the opportunity to get your questions answered and receive feedback to support you in your unique health journey.
